Occasionally during the process of troubleshooting a support request, it may be helpful for an OIT employee to be able to see and/or control your computer. In many cases an OIT employee will be able to use this tool to resolve your issue over the phone, without needing to dispatch a technician to your location.
When directed to do so by an OIT employee, you may run the remote support utility
. When the utility is run, it will look like the following. Just double-click on the appropriate technician to share your desktop with them.
