Occasionally during the process of troubleshooting a support request, it may be helpful for an OIT employee to be able to see and/or control your computer. In many cases an OIT employee will be able to use this tool to resolve your issue over the phone, without needing to dispatch a technician to your location.
When directed to do so by an OIT employee, you may run
the remote support utility. When the utility is run, it will look like the following. Just double-click on the appropriate technician to share your desktop with them.
