Windows Active Directory (AD) accounts are used by Clarkson faculty, staff and students to access network file servers (S:, U:, P: and other drives) and network printing. It is a necessary part of the report features in the PeopleSoft Financials 7.5 software used by faculty and staff.

An AD account is also required for use of computers in classrooms and public labs. To access files stored on AD from off campus via the Internet, go to myfiles.clarkson.edu. AD also maintains student Printer Balance: each student begins each semester with a $24 printer credit. Visit the Service Center if you need to pay for additional printing.
