Turnitin is a tool designed to improve your students’ writing. Turnitin provides a space for you to receive assignments online, it checks submission contents for plagiarism, provides a similarity report with citations, there are additional options for grammar and spell checking, and it will give you a space to grade and provide feedback directly to your students.
Turnitin is directly integrated with Moodle, and is available to all Clarkson instructors and students at no charge.
To get started, instructors simply add the Turnitin 2 activity to their Moodle course, select desired options and save. Account set up, course and student enrollment is automatically created – no manual set up for the instructor.
